A plain-language guide to the Moors, built on encyclopedias, museums, UNESCO, university scholarship, archives and court records. Every card links to its source.
How we handle disagreement
History has real debates. When sources differ on a date, a number or a famous story, the card says so and names who says what. We don't pick a side the evidence doesn't support.
The name
Moor, I am. A play on "more, I am": owning the history, and more than any one label.
How the site pays for itself
Not yet. If we ever link books through a bookstore affiliate program, the links will be labeled, and it won't change which books we list or what we say about them. Here's the full version.
